The Korean Society of Sport Biomechanics (KSSB) is an academic society which was founded in 1976. This academic society has focused their study and devoted themselves on the development of Sports Biomechanics.
Since Sports Biomechanics plays essential role in various scientific fields, KSSB is consisted of 800 members who have interests in sports science, physics, biomedical and mechanical engineering, biomedical engineering.

For the development of Sport Biomechanics and to enhance its connection between the members, KSSB holds annual academic conferences, internal workshops and seminars, and also publishes four academic journals every year.

Recognizing the importance of becoming a globally connected academic society, KSSB actively interacts with other academic associations such as International Society of Biomechanics (ISB) and International Society of Biomechanics in Sports (ISBS), and also established vibrant partnerships with relevant societies in neighboring countries which covers Japan, China, USA, Australia and Southeast Asia.
